previously , i thought that the developments in robots technology is just a hardware and (artificial intelligence) improvements , but apparently i was wrong in that , would you imagine that a robot could have a biological brain ?

i wasn’t imagine that until i read the next news:

Scientists from the University of Reading has developed a robot which is controlled by organic brain – it consists of neurons cultured in the laboratory, this brain controls the whole functions of robot without the need of any data  processor!!

as the nerve cells put in a matrix of multi-polar outside the body of the robot , the informations is exchanged via bluetooth!
this robot have sensors,wheels and other usable things, it  pick information with the help of sensors and send it to the matrix which is fast processes the data  then send orders to the robot to control its direction and speed to avoid shocks

This invention can be useful in a number of things including the possibility of robots self learning through experience as the brain cells store information and can make use of them later. The second benefit: as i think it’s more important is that we can learn how the human brain works, how to store information and this may help us to treat with some chronic diseases such as Parkinson’s disease.
